EXPERIENCE

Vice President of Operations, Laptop Computers Technology

Tampa, Florida — 2013 - Current

Hired during busy season for temporary help. Within three months, I was offered a full-time Customer Service Manager position to handle all inbound and outbound customer support issues for refurbished laptops. Shortly thereafter, I took on additional responsibility and was promoted to General Manager. In this role, I oversee and supervise a staff of 15, reporting directly to the business owner. During my tenure, I’ve helped increase sales and productivity from 14,000 units per year to 46,000 units per year ending May 2017; also achieved new high set to 48,000 units and 12 million USD in sales for fiscal year 2020.


Accomplishments

● Over 99.5% positive feedback from customers. Demonstrated very strong negotiation skills as well as conversational ability.

● Created QEHMS plan, including all business processes and recycling standards, got the company R2/RIOS certified as a recycling facility and passed the recertification as well. Sourced and retained all required data and verifications that we are maintaining standards. (Sample available)

I was hired as an intern and was involved in all aspects of a Smart Grid rollout project at Lakeland Electric. I helped with business process design and editing, design and implementation of systems testing as well as creating and administering cutting edge training techniques in the operational transition phase.

Designed and administered company-wide training with cutting edge technologies (Panopto) to train on systems management.
